They do and they are pretty quick
Yas! Vegetarian and Vegan.
No Uncle Tony's pizza doesn't have any gluten free pizza but fortunately Fumo's next door does and they taste Heavenly
Grabbed a quick slice while I was in the area for work. I had never been to the upper west side and wasn’t familiar with local pizza shops. I was hoping to find something comparable to my Bushwick neighborhood pizza place, Archie's Pizza & Bar. I spotted Uncle Tony’s pizza sign and liked the blue pizza graphic, so I decided to check it out. The space is quaint, cool, minimal. Staff was friendly and fast. The Sicilian looked good but I went with the Bosco, which had wild mushrooms, ricotta, rosemary, mozzarella and truffle drizzle. It was quite tasty and I can tell they source quality ingredients. The slice was a decent size but I only had one. I would probably need another to feel satisfied. For the vegans out there, they have a vegan slice. If I'm ever in the area again, I’d stop through Uncle Tony's again.
I'm from Connecticut, and its been 12 years since I ate a NY Slice pizza. and boy it was worth the wait! Mind you that pizza from Connecticut isn't really all there. Thats why I gave uncle Tony's pizza 5 stars!
Best pizza I’ve have in Harlem
Had a delicious brunch... and relaxing environment...
Great customer service, very friendly staff. On the whole the pizza was okay. The crust/dough used was excellent, heated to perfection.my only issue is a personal preference, I do not like coated/fried Chicken on chicken and ranch pizza. I prefer chicken to be grilled. I would absolutely go back again, but will try something different. I really like original artwork as decor.
Love there vegan slice!
Uncle Tony’s Pizza is a consistently good pizzeria, attached to a larger Italian restaurant next door. The pizza is always delicious. Despite its folksy name, it’s a modern, dare I say hipster, sort of pizzeria. So just don’t come here expecting an old-school NYC pizza joint. I highly recommend the baker’s slice (basically pepperoni on a thick Sicilian type slice), a chicken bacon ranch slice, and a cauliflower and kalamata olive slice. All three are amazing.
Standard prices but a great restaurant (Fumo) to compliment this nice pizzeria. Bonus: They have vegan slices.
One of the best pizza spots on the hill. Cozy storefront mostly serving Hamilton Heights, CUNY City College, Manhattanville MTA garage and various city posts throughout Hamilton Heights. The flavor and ingredients are primo. Been going to them since they opened. I DEPEND on these guys!
Can’t Live without my Uncle Tony’s. Grandma Pie is my go-to, thank you!
The price is reasonable considering the quality of food. I've always enjoyed their pizzas, and it's a step up from cheap dollar slice.
I left my credit card there by mistake and called them. They said they have it, so I said I would come back several days later to pick it up. They said OK. When I returned to pick it up, they said they cut it and threw it away.
Cheap, fast and easy place. A good place for a fast lunch
Honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had. And the workers were so great, accommodating, cute, sweet and DAMN, they can make amazing ‘za!!!
I love this spot. The vegan pizza is delicious! Yum yum. The atmosphere is nice too with the fake plants and art on the wall 👌 Workers are very kind as well. Oh and their music playlist is always on point. They should definitely learn how to make vegan buffalo cauliflower pizza 😍 or at least get vegan pepperoni. Nothing wrong with expanding their options. 😁💚
The drink lids were over filled so be careful when you take a sip
I just wanna thank you guys for making a normal slice of NYC style pizza with quality ingredients. No hipster nonsense. No gimmicks. Just an honest to goodness slice of NYC style pizza with a lovely chewy and crispy crust and a perfect cheese/crust/sauce ratio. As a NYC and a fat Italian I give Uncle Tony's my highest recommendation I get a tear to my eye every time I open the pizza box. It's always perfect, with just the right about of "sag" to the crust. It's worth the extra money. You guys have warmed my heart.
Uncle Tony's is one of the only establishments in this neighborhood you can find Vegan Pizza. The establishment is clean and brand new. It seems to cater toward the college crowd of City University across the street, nonetheless great place to grab a slice. Like most pizza joints, there is no bathroom here! You'll have to go next door haha.
Great pizza and perfect for between classes.
Awesome. Really good pizza. Best I have had in a long time
My favorite pizzas are the Bosco, cauliflower and chicken ranch. Saturday and Sundays from noon till 4pm is an amazing happy hour deal of buy two for $5.
I like Sicilian, costed 3.75
It's a pretty okay spot. Great location right across the street from City College but I think the prices are pretty high, especially for a place where the main customers are college students. Getting pizza catered for City College events of about 25-30 people will use up more than 1/3 of any club's or student association's annual event budget. It's very aesthetically pleasing inside the restaurant though and there is always great music playing. My main complaint is that there is only one type of vegan pizza and it is not the best. It's great in a pinch as the area doesn't have many easily accessible vegan friendly options...but there could be more variety with it.
My super put me on to this place and I have to say, it's so good. To me, second best to Mama's Pizza. The inside is nice, not too large or too small. The decor is pleasant. The pizza itself, delicious! Had the regular slice and a supreme. Both left me wanting more. I love the fact that the supreme had the small pepperoni, for some reason, I fancy that to the regular sized pepperoni at other locations. This is now my go to spot whenever I'm in that area
My neighborhood pizza place. I love the interior of this little shop, you can tell they put thought and care into making it a chill, welcoming space. The pizza is always great, with a stellar variety. Including vegan! Great place!
Fantastic pizza joint with delicious vegan slices that have melty (vegan) mozzarella cheese, marinara, and (vegan) pesto! Only thing I'd say is they put the slices in a touch too long so the crust was bordering on hard. I'd go back and tell them just to heat it up real quick. Ooh and they also have a great happy hour on weekends from 11-4. 2 for $5 slices!
The pizza was delicious and the owners were really nice with me! Congrats!
Uncle Tony's is by far one of the best uptown pizza slice restaurants. Their crust has flavor! I also found both the square slice and traditional pie slice to have an enjoyable balance of crunchiness and chewiness. They have a few interesting topping and style options available by the slice. Prices are reasonable, service is efficient.
I just tried to eat my weight of the vegan slices. Fantastic pizza. The pesto was super creamy and the crust (my favorite part) was impeccable. Make sure you can the said to dip your crust in. You can substitute vegan cheese for the other pizzas but you have to order a whole pie. Next time, I'm calling ahead for a vegan Sicilian and some garlic knots!
Ordered a Sicilian Pizza and 2 orders of Garlic Knots. They were out of Garlic Knots, so rather than contact us to let us know and possibly allow us to add a different item, they merely omitted them and refunded the price of the item. Pizza arrived 10 minutes late; not a big deal. Sicilian crust was stale, dry and chewy rather than crisp on the outside and light and airy inside and tasted like cardboard. Called to complain and they suggested that we didn't know what Sicilian pizza was supposed to be. Oh, we know what it's supposed to be. Get one at Joe's downtown and you'll enjoy everything that Uncle Tony's got wrong. Then they suggested that we should order something else next time. We will; it will be something else from somplace other than Uncle Tony's.
I stepped in here looking for a quick bite and I’m so glad I did! Every one of their pizza options looked amazing but I chose the buffalo slice instead. Loved the crunchy chicken combined with the soft bread and cheese. The staff is also super friendly and it took less than a minute for my slice to be warmed up. They also have great happy hour specials.
They have a nice happy hour and before-closing deal. The pizzas are fresh and delicious. Personal fave is the buffalo chicken.
The food was great! Pizza hot and fresh! Unfortunately I won't be ordering from them again though because my Capital Once credit card I used to purchase the food and my Discover credit card thats stored on file on my grub hub account were compromised after this purchase was made. Someone tried to use my cards at a corner store for almost $300. Luckily both credit card providers declined it as "suspicious activity" and both cards were shut down. Its annoying to have to wait 3-5 days to receive new cards and update merchants that I have automatic payments with, with my new card info. Ive now removed all cards stored on my grub hub account.
Great neighborhood slice joint, up until uncle Tony's came along, we were devoid of good NYC classic pizza. They've got pizza happy hour on the weekends, any two slices for 5 bucks. A total steal of you ask me, they've got quality ingredients, and great taste!
Horrible customer service. Sub par food.
Cute clean place, nice staff. The pizza...Amazing!! One of the best I've had. (I'm a New Yorker so I've tried many pizzerias) The mushroom with truffle oil is my favorite. Sat & Sun 11am - 4pm they have a special, any 2 slices for $5. Def recommend this place.
My go-to pizza spot! Their regular pie is huge, delicious, and affordable if you pick it up in person. They've got a great range of toppings and the service is great.
Absolutely perfect thin crust, delectable sauce, delightful cheesiness. New York pizza at its absolute best! Thank you all!
Great pizza. Worth the money.
Love happy hour
The pizza was amazing!!!must try it if your in town and yes the take card n cash to make any payments
So tastys and they have 2 slices for 5 bucks on weekends
Great place to enjoy different varieties of pizza. We had 2 cauliflower, bakers and chicken ranch.Bakers is pepperoni pizza with thick crust whreas chicken ranch is a thin crust pizza with added bacon in addition to chicken. Cauliflower is a square pizza with total different taste. It had cauliflower, mushroom, onions and olives. My personal favorite is chicken ranch. We didn't know that it was happy hour. All 4 pieces cost only $10. Mouth watering. Will visit again
So far so good, great New York Style Pizza with a nice toasty crunchy crust and smoky flavor, not too greasy and pretty lightweight feeling eating it. Each slice is currently $2.50 which is a steal around this neighborhood now that so many businesses are opening up and is amazing due to the fact that there's only one other pizzeria that's been around for ages and only accepts cash. This place takes your debit or credit card at no minimum and is nice and clean.
Surprising toppings and flavors! Soo good!
Very clean place and delicious pizza with affordable price.
Come later in the evenings, and they will not enforce the 5$ minimum for using credit cards. Otherwise, food is fantastic or simply have each slice be 5$. This was my only experience in the morning and shall come at night, as I normally do.
Best pizza in the Hamilton Heights area. The prices are a little higher than I like, but you get what you pay for.Happy hour from 9-10p is better, affording beer and any slice for $6.
Best pizza I’ve had! The crust is impeccable. 10/10 would order again.
Best slice place in Harlem easy...
